The purpose of this event was to encourage and motivate the women in the Young Mothers Association (Strong Women) of Galina and spur them into action to:
- Develop habits that increase their self esteem
- Explore entrepreneurial ideas
- Explore training courses
The ladies indicated that they left with tools to become more positive, serve others in their immediate communities, and ideas for self improvement and entrepreneurial activities.
The provision of childcare is of critical importance in facilitating the focus of the women during gatherings. While the children themselves were generally not disruptive, the women were visibly more relaxed when their children were escorted to another space to be entertained.
